A Royal Time in Tronheim

Apparently the Catheral is one of the must see places in Tronheim. Lucky it was closed to the general public thus relieving me of the onerous tourist obligation of doing the Catheral, churches and Musem thing, and so freeing up time for cafes, et al.

The reason for this all was that King Harald V was in town for a commemoration service in the Catheral to mark the 25 aniversavery of ascending to the throne. But before the service the Royal family were being entertained by choral groups, and a really unusual Norwegian version of footbag using a “ball” made of shredded bicycle inner tubes. It was a game that no one I asked could explain to me, putting it on a par with cricket I suppose, however the Crown prince showed some fairly good skills at it.
